Joanne Longdon joins the Consult Management Team and is appointed as Head of Events

Joanne Longdon has joined the Consult Management Team by taking over a new portfolio entitled ‘Head of Events’. Joanne will be responsible for organising national policy forums for our members as well as the Consult Management Executive Meetings. Joanne will also input heavily into the design of the National Representation Strategy, which will be committed to ensuring that Consult effectively represents all of our national members.

Joanne is currently into her second year reading Politics at the University of Sheffield. She has been involved with the Conservative party for well over three and a half years, and has been involved with her local branch in helping deliver key local and national campaigns, attending key events and working on several important projects.

Consult Chairman Matthew Page welcomed the appointment and commented: “Joanne ahs been steadfastly loyal towards the Consult project for the last two years, and has travelled extensively to participate in our activity. She will contribute much to the development of our National Representation Strategy, and I look very much forward to working with her, as do the rest of the team.”
