Gavin is one of the youngest Association Chairman in the Conservative Party and heads up the key marginal constituency of Ipswich. Gavin has just overseen the selection of the new Conservative Parliamentary Candidate Ben Gummer for the forthcoming General Election and co-ordinates campaigning, fundraising and other key activity across the town. In May 2007, he was elected as a councillor for Bixley ward on Ipswich Borough Council.

Gavin has been involved with Consult for the last four years and he has advised on a number of different areas including communications, the way in which Consult relates with external organisations and inputting into the Management structure of Consult as well as its operations.

Professionally, Gavin works for BT as a senior engineer specialising in delivering network services and technologies to a major global information company.
