Bethany is a graduate from the University of Durham and qualified in Combined Honours in Arts in Politics and Philosophy.

She is currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Law at The College of Law after which she will take up a training contract in 2009 with Clifford Chance who are sponsoring her law course.

Bethany has held a variety of positions including being the Durham University Conservative Association President and CF Regional Representative on the North East Board. She has been involved with Consult working on events and policy projects for the last four years.

Outside of politics Bethany has represented England at Rounders and played squash at national level.
